Free medical mission at Ukpo community, Anambra state

We embarked on the first free medical mission in Ukpo community, Anambra Nigeria. During this outreach, we carried out medical consultations for adults & children gave out prescribed drugs, performed minor eye surgeries, vision screening by opticians and gave eyeglasses & health education. At the end we also supported financially older women.

It was an impactful one as we had a qualified  medical team from the Nnamdi Azikiwe teaching hospital Nnewi, consultants from University of Benin teaching hospital, opticians and pharmacist. We had over 500 beneficiaries from this mission and everything was dispersed at no cost. Our volunteers ensured that all who came benefited in one way or the another. We are glad to have left a footprint at Ukpo.
