We stopped at strategic locations like the popular Utako market, Access Bank Utako as people’s attention were drawn to us and received our message warmly.
Over 75 volunteers participated in the colourful road show as people from all works of life united with one voice to promote healthy living for Nigerians. Pastor Wilson Akubo (Branch Pastor Family Worship, Wuye, Abuja) joined in the walk as educative fliers on healthy eating habits were distributed, free blood pressure checks and blood sugar checks was conducted, branded materials: t-shirts, face caps and hand towels added colour to the walk, water for the road with a DJ and an MC combining to add live and energy to the campaign.

Like everything that has a beginning has an end, the road walk ended by 11:20am. Pastor Wilson Akubo declared “You are stronger than you think.” He said “we walked 7kms.” He charged us to practice what we have learned about good nutrition and exercise and closed the activity with a prayer.
