Grills, Thrills and Grind at the Grand Finale of the May Edition Healthy Me Challenge.

The TI’bilon Healthcare Foundation is a leading indigenous non-governmental and non-profit organization in Nigeria. The foundation (THF) in its bid to keep impacting and causing positive change, through its Executive Director,  Dr. Tochukwu Nnamoko and Mrs Ifeatu Tochukwu initiated a Healthy Me Challenge.

The sole aim behind this initiative is to create a community of health enthusiast that supports, motivates and accountable to each other. Some of the activities being promoted include regular exercises, intake of 4 litres of water daily, walking 10,000 steps and eating right balance diet.  This will help maintain a good work life balance and  prevent diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure.

Over 50 participants joined the challenge as it kicked off on May 1, 2025 and  by 8:30am culminated in a grand finale on May 31, 2025 held at 18 Minna Street Garki, Area 8, Abuja. Over 30 people including friends and participants gathered to celebrate and recreate in a serene and beautiful environment with various sport facilities.

The Zumba dance instructor set the day rolling with music and excitement, following his lead, the participants danced their way to fitness with soothing beats setting the paces. Thereafter participants engaged in various sports activities like basketball, football, snookers and table tennis while at the same time delicious barbecue: grilled beef meat with vegetables, boiled and roasted corn, pears and coconut was served. Also, there were loads of fresh juices and water to refresh everyone.

To everything that has a beginning there is an end, the time came to bring the day’s activity to a close which was the purpose of our gathering. It was time to announce the top three winners of the first Healthy Me Challenge competition.

Coming in the order of 1st to 3rd we have:

1st Prize Winner: Miss Oluchi Udeh

2nd Prize Winner: Mr Jonah Ibrahim

3rd Prize Winner: Mr Godwin Kefas

Other consolation prizes was given to every participant at the closing of the grand finale at 11:30am. It is worthy of note to state the winners have received their cash prizes as promised from the Foundation with each acknowledging it.

It was a successful event and we look forward to the June edition that it will be more impactful.
