Courtesy Visit to Pastor Wilson Akubo (Branch Pastor Family Worship Center, Wuye Abuja)

A team of Ti’Bilon Healthcare Foundation led by Dr Tochukwu Nnamoko in his continued to effort to improve and strengthen system paid a courtesy visit to a board member in the person of Pastor Wilson Akubo of Family Worship Center to express his gratitude for their unwavering support and partnership in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the healthcare foundation.

Dr Tochukwu Nnamoko spoke extensively on milestones achieved since the foundation was established: over 3,000 beneficiaries across six States namely Anambra, Enugu, Nasarawa, Niger, Kogi and F.C.T Abuja with free medical services like free access to doctors, drugs, medical health checks and many more.

Furthermore, he proposed solutions to the niggling challenge of brain drain facing Nigeria in the healthcare sector through “The Medipreneurship Program”.  It offers medical professionals innovative way to co-own hospitals and healthcare facilities, including consulting rooms, treatment rooms, pharmacies, and laboratories. An approach countries like India, United States of America, Australia have developed to improve their healthcare ecosystem.

Additionally, he reiterated efforts are ongoing to restructure the foundation with the recruitment of of a Program Director to perform oversight function through the expertise of Dr. Osagie Itamah.

Mrs. Ifeatu Tochukwu also appreciated Pastor Wilson Akubo and said “We couldn’t structure the Foundation properly hence we brought in hands to help us address the issues and bridge the gap. We will be committed to the proper running of the Foundation henceforth.”

Pastor Wilson Akubo on his part commended the team and the new effort being put in place. He said the proposed solution to brain drain in the health sector will be a blessing to us and our people and I believe 100 percent in this vision. Speaking further,  he said “God helps anybody with this kind of idea.” He prayed and blessed us.

He intimated the team on the desire of other Pastors under the Family Worship Center to hold medical outreaches  this year due to success stories of similar medical outreaches held in other worship centers.
