Medical Outreach train reaches Gwagwalada
The Easter celebrations came with much sober reflection and ended with a hope for tomorrow, likewise our regular medical outreach in collaboration with Encounter Jesus Ministries International (EJMI) also resumed on April26, 2025. This time around we visited the L.E.A Primary School , Rafin Zurfi, Ibwa Rd, Gwagwalada , Abuja community.
The journey began by 9am comprising of 5 team members from the Foundation and about 70 members of the EJMI team and w arrived our location at 11:30am. The venue was set up with tents, sound system and chairs. The community seated and waiting for us with eager anticipation. Once the necessary set up was completed: counselling, children, doctors, nurse and pharmacist stations, the outreach commenced.
The head of Missions Encounter Jesus Ministries International ministered preached the gospel and ministered to souls as he prayed for their healing of ailments and pains. Thereafter, the people were directed for counselling and one on one prayer with their counsellors.

Present at the medical outreach were healthcare and humanitarian professionals in their numbers:
- Doctors: 3
- Pharmacist: 5
- Nurses: 4
- Lab scientist: 5
- Dawn of life Foundation: 4
- TI’bilon team: 5
- Children : 92
- Adults: 155
In total, 267 no. of people were present at the medical outreach.
After counselling, they enjoyed free consultation with doctors who attended to their complaints and recommended the necessary drugs to be collected from the pharmacist free of charge. It was all full of joy and smiles as children got free vitamin C, adults received pain relieving drugs, anti-malaria and many more.
Another highlight from the outreach was the presence of Dawn of Life Foundation, they provided free Tuberculosis (TB) and HIV test.


At about 3pm the outreach closed with thanksgiving to God as each team departed to meet again come May.
